Arezu has been a lifelong Yogini
Fuelled by her own spiritual experiences, she holds a deep yearning to help and inspire others as well to connect within themselves.
She began meditating at the age of 5, and by age 7 she started practicing Kundalini Yoga with her teacher, GuruSingh. By age 14 she was the youngest certified Kundalini Yoga teacher in USA. She followed her teachers words, “love your work and you will never work another day in your life” and decided to do what she loves most: helping individuals through Yoga to connect within, unleashing their own passions and building a life of purpose*. Her brand, InspireZu, is all about finding ways to inspire one another through mind, spirit and body practices. She is also a Personal Trainer, Boxing, Aqua, Zumba & Meditation Instructor. Nonetheless, yoga remains her main focus and passion, she teaches over 11 different modalities of yoga from Kundalini to Core Power to Restorative. However, she is most known for her trademarked fusion class, “Kundalini Core Flow” which combines most of her lineages as well as her popularised, “Brain Boosting” workshop.
At age 15, she ventured off to study in Miri Piri Academy, a Sikh International Boarding School in Amritsar, India where she deepened her yogic practice both physically and mentally. Later, she attended George Washington University (GWU) in Washington DC. Becoming the youngest hired staff at GWU & initiated Yoga for various Sport teams, who each noticed great improvements in their performance* as well as Government Institutions** Arezu is an advocate of giving back, also referred to as “seva” (selfless service) while living in India opened her eyes to the great need worldwide, she since then has helped build the first Girls school in Guatemala and in the Forgotten Refugee camps of Sudan. With LA as her home base, she has found many ways to incorporate her degree in International Affairs and Humanitarian Studies with her love for Yoga, as a livelihood.
Furthermore, she is the CA Ambassador for the Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation (ARPF) and for Womens Alzheimers Movement (WAM). ARPF teaches a powerful Kundalini meditation that has been scientifically researched and clinically proven (by UCLA) to help aid in preventing memory loss, as well as many other benefits***. She is a certified Brain Longevity Specialist; currently teaching seminars on how to train the Mind and Body through exercise, meditations, and more to boost the Brain ****.
She owes a lot of her good fortune to the grounding yogic practices that she was fortunate to start at a young age and is committed to supporting the future generations having those same tools. She teaches Prenatal, Mommy and Me, Kids Yoga (ages 2 and up) & also a Yoga for Youth teacher specialized in teaching the underprivileged and incarcerated youth in Los Angeles.
Through many different avenues, Arezu has been able to combine her varied skills, a wealth of knowledge, love for teaching, global thirst for traveling, and the sentiment to “give back” to live a truly well-rounded, full-bodied life; all of which is incorporated into her lifestyle brand, InspireZu. She is grateful for opportunities to teach workshops and retreats abroad, as she has taught many international retreats in Costa Rica, Croatia and more, as well as teaching InspireZu workshop’s at SoHo House Miami, Mumbai and Berlin.
Arezu’s birth name means WISH - she realized the gifts and blessings her name came with was to grant wishes for others and herself, to manifest her life. Creating her own business and teaching from a young age in an overly saturated industry took a lot of hustle, and a lot of “doing” (Masculine energy).
As Arezu began to tap into her healing abilities more in her late 20’s recent years, she realized the importance of just “being” more often, and embodying the divine feminine. So she took on the nickname of Angel that many friends already were calling her by, and the 6 years of daily 11:11 angelic reminders were hinting at after having a powerful meditation where she saw herself in an Angel training camp to heal others and bring unity. Now she goes by both, Arezu or Angel - you choose, but either way she is here to be of SERVICE to YOU, with many tools to support you in tapping into your Highest Self!
